Welcome to Maguire Candles – a small, home-based maker of handmade, scented candles in Surrey, UK

My name is Paul and I’ve been a working musician and photographer most of my adult life (and still am). But I also love learning new creative skills and utilising the techniques once I have mastered them. Now that I am well past the first flush of youth (just about), I have more time and patience to do this. I started candle making a couple of years back and started up Maguire Candles; which was named after the address I lived at, then I later moved, but kept the name!!

I use high quality 100% Soy Wax and Fragrance Oils from UK suppliers to make a range of candles that are not only luxurious, long and clean burning, with amazing scents, but are also Vegan-friendly and Cruelty-free.

Whether you prefer fresh citrus and fruity fragrances such as Lemon & Jasmine and Sweet Apple, sweet and creamy Eton Mess or warm and welcoming Gingerbread, Maguire’s large jar candles will fill you room with fragrance without overpowering your senses!

As more and more men seem to like to burn candles (mysef included) I first produced a range of ‘Mandles’ – they are candles with men in mind men; although buyers are not oly men! These come in black tins with lids, and the fragrances are inspired by after-shaves and colognes. They smell great in any room, but are particularly suited to your bathroom and bedroom.
